Automatic Litterbox Central

I found this site while trying to find reviews on different automatic litter box models. I know this forum has much information to offer that will help me choose the best litter box for me, but there is no quick/easy/comparative way to get the info.
I'd love to see a page that contained all of the reviewed litter box models, and columns that listed various information about the models (initial cost, ongoing cost, type of litter required, effectivness, expected lifespan, etc.).
I don't want to buy a box and find out there is a high maintenance cost with specialty parts, or if a box is badly made and has a reputation for dying after a few months.

The problem with this is not everyone agrees on all the points considered.

I'm a former LitterMaid user who is now an obsessively loyal SmartScoop sycophant. I'll tell you a million times that the SmartScoop is better than the LitterMaid for x, x, x and X reasons.

And then there will be someone who will say the LitterMaid is better for x, x, and Y reasons.

The only real way to get an idea of what might work for you is to read the experiences & opinions of others, I'm afraid.
