Automatic Litterbox Central

Howdy,

I am a new user to this forum, and the main reason why I came to this forum is because I had a safety question about the litter that I was currently using in my litter box. I felt as if it was kind of an emergency question and would have liked to have a section that is monitored more closely by administrators (perhaps a text message goes to their phone when a new message is posted, like other social sites). My "emergency" question was not an emergency enough to call the vet, especially not at 1 am! But I wanted to know if the type of litter that my cat was currently using was safe for him to ingest, since he is a rigorous cleaner of himself. It took about 2 days or so for my question to get answered. I think a quick response help section would be a great addition!

perhaps you could offer incentives for members to answer each other's questions, like yahoo answers does? People could earn points and stars....become "top contributors" to the list....too many people come here to get answers, but there aren't enough people answering.

You could offer people to enter their cell phone numbers and be able to receive text messages everytime they get a response to their post. Or they could enter their email and get an email every time they get a response. I think this would increase the productivity of this website ten fold!!
