I have a smart scoop on order. Any advice on setting it up/getting the cats used to it? I was using the scoop free but one of my cats rejected it after a couple weeks. They both are happy with Arm and Hammer clumping litter. Does that one work ok with the smart scoop?
Owned by two rescue kitties, Ariel and Roo. Both are sweet boys who love to cuddle.

Heya - welcome to the SmartScoop family! Hope it works as good for you as it has for me and mine.

Setting up - if you care to swing for the non-stick spray by the same company, do so and apply it to the rake, and litter tray before using.

If you don't want to swing for that product and can't find it, I do the same thing with non-stick cooking spray. I use a store brand, but you can use Pam or any variant.

I have never used any litter in mine except chicken layer (which is the poor man's version of The World's Best Cat Litter). So I can't vouch for the Arm & Hammer.

My 11 cats all took to it with no problem. So no advice on acclimating your cat, sorry.

Good luck!
