Dear April,
I just wanted to thank you in getting us the upgrade kit. The machine is working much better now.

With kind regards,

I sent an email to SmartScoop not knowing about this site. Will you still get the email? Well, if not, it was about my SmartScoop flinging litter out of the box instead of in the compartment.

I have read that others have had this same problem and you are aware of it. But what do I do about this. I read that a new lip was being designed, so did it work. And if it does, how can I get one? These Litter boxes are not cheap, and I would like to be able to use it. Please respond, and thank you for this site.

April, still waiting for a reply. Do you reply here, or am I going to get a email?

I think April might be on vacation :) She normally answers very quickly.

Never did receive a reply from April. I guess she is no longer here. I did take my smart scoop back to the store I purchased it from and got another one, and it also broke after a week.

This a very poorly designed product and should be taken off the market!

Did you phone her or send to her personal email at smart scoop or only post on this board?

April typically responds as fast as she can and I'm sorry you have had such issues with the box. I have to say that I am much happier with it than the LM's that I have had over the last 9 years. Even the pet sitting company that watches my cats when I travel say it is far and away much better.

Hi April,
We talked a couple months ago about my new Super Scoop. I would forward you the emails but I didn't save them. Anyway, I was having problems with the rake getting stuck on the liquid waste that sticks to the bottom of the pan. We are also having problems with clumps rolling off the end of the rake (when it does get all the way through the cycle, that is rare) and falling outside the box. We have tried the Arm and Hammer litter as suggested on this site. Things have only gotten worse. Now it gets stuck with solid waste too.
At this point we are totally frustrated and disappointed with our SS. What do we do? Is there a fix for this issue?
You can email me directley at jared_kopydlowski@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Jared
