Hi all,

Very interesting forum. I have been trying to buy 2 scoopfree ultra sx2 boxes for a while but noone has them in stock. The only place who seem to stock in the UK are petplanet. They can't give an estimated date for new stock from the USA.

I emailed scoopfree directly but no response and am unable to buy from the US (even scoopfree themselves) as they prohibit dispatch outside the US.

Anyone got any ideas where I can actually buy these if I live in the UK?

Hi Alex,

There is actually quite a good option for you. If you go to one of these two companies, you can set up a forwarding account with them to ship overseas, and you can simply order your unit from Amazon.com. This will give you the best of both worlds -- good pricing from Amazon plus the ability to get overseas delivery. Over time I've been able to help quite a number of people get Forever Trays using this method, and they were very happy with it.

Just FYI -- Scoop Free no longer makes or sells the SX2 model -- they have transitioned to the SX3 ("original") and SX4 ("Ultra") models. These are much improved. They have quieter mechanisms, and SF has also incorporated a design improvement to help prevent problems with "side pee-ers" -- something lacking in previous models. So overall a much improved machine.

My person suggestion would be to stick with the SX3 ("original") version -- as the "set" amount of timing that comes on that machine is (in my opinion) the optimal setting -- so having an adjustable timer and counter isn't really an improvement, just more whistles and bells. But please remember that's just my personal opinion.
