Help! My Forever Litter Tray needs repair

Postby nvr2late2shop » Wed Dec 31, 2008 4:05 pm

I purchased the Forever Litter Tray over a year ago off eBay and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I Love it, Love it, Love it! However, one of the magnetic pieces has come unglued or unstuck from the plastic. When it first happened months ago I was able to use some strong double-sided tape, but it has just now come undone again and it's so gunked up and rusty from being soiled that I can't figure out anything that'll hold it back in place. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd appreciate it so very much!

some devcon 2 part epoxy should hold it in place.

You could really just use some devcon epoxy and it would be good as new. That is such a minor repair.

About a year ago My washer overflowed and flooded my scoop free. the only casulty was one of the metal squares came off

I used some gorrilla glue to glue it back on and it has fine ever since.

A small drop of silicon rubber (the same stuff used to make aquariums and line bathtub edges) will work wonders. It isn't affected by moisture and is super strong. Just make sure you let it dry completely for 24 hrs before putting the trap back in use.

Do you suppose they figured out how to attach the magnet? The original post was Dec 31....maybe they had a mobile tech person come and fix it. <snicker> Problems of that magnitude usually require a house call, don't they?

A new tray because a magnet fell off after a year?? Rick, you're killing me~ lol

I'm new to the forum - the plastic part of my forever litter tray that has the magnets got thrown away by mistake. Some of the walls of the base are also coming unglued. How can I go about getting a replacement top piece and fixing the main tray? I'm new to the forum and can't send private messages on here.
