Has anyone tried different litter hoods? I hate having to pay $30 just for the hood! any ideas would be great. Thanks

I tried two different liter maid tents that didn't work so well for me because they were too big for the small space that I keep the scoopfree. I then purchased the scoop free hood which was a perfect fit. I l also like it because it lets some light in so kitties aren't going into a black hole when they get in the box.

We've also gone with the SF hood -- for all the reasons you mention.....it just fits. I think Petguys has them for something like $16.99 (plus shipping, of course).
