Oh we use to get those too... those are slippery and gross me out so badly even the thought of stepping in one makes me feel icky. I got the Furminator and since I started brushing them with it like two weeks ago, I have only found one hairball!!! Soon to be hairball free I am hoping *crosses fingers*

HELP!

Postby WnderWman » Wed Jun 13, 2007 8:25 am

I have a similar problem, I put the new SF down and all four kittens took to it and the mom did too, at first. She finally saw and heard it go through a cycle and she started batting it and she actually hissed at it, she never hisses at anything, now she sits and waits for it to come alive again and has starting peeing on the furniture. I know it is not the crystals because I have the old box filled with them and am having to keep her in seclusion because she will not stop breasting feeding the kittens and she used the old box with the crystals just fine, I just need to get her to trust that the SF is not going to come alive and attack her. I have read the above suggestions and am going to try them, but if anyone else has any more suggestions I am listening.
