Automatic Litterbox Central

The Purrforma has been discontinued by Petmate/Doskocil.

There are a few remaining XL units that are out in various warehouses, but we have had difficulties getting any from them since 11/2007.

Beware of units being offered as "brand new", as production seems to have stopped in late 2007.

I did notice a while ago that all our Petsmarts here in the Houston area had yanked these off the shelf. They still had the box liners for sale, but no litter boxes at all. I was wondering why that was, thanks for the heads up.

We started noticing delays in shipments in October, and the Jumbos stopped coming altogether. We contacted Doskocil directly, and found out that the Jumbo was discontinued at the beginning of 2007.

We just found out in February that the entire line was discontinued.

They will continue to produce the accessories (litter pans, wastebags, etc) for the time being, but even those are hard to get for us. I would advise people to stock up because I am fairly certain those too will eventually be discontinued.
