Automatic Litterbox Central

I'm trying to find the right time of the day for the timer to run so the two boys aren't sitting there watching it. I'm afriad they'll start to think it's a toy and not want to go in it. Do you're cats do that? Mine are mesmerized by it. I'm trying to have the timer set for when they are sleeping or I know they are distracted but I haven't found those perfect times yet.

On a good note, it's working like a charm, litter box is cleaned 3 times a day or if I go by and notice it's been used I run it. Husband is thrilled, there is no smell and the box always looks clean. I'm using WBCL and it seems to be working fine with the machine, I'm sprinking a little of the Arm & Hammer High Performance on top just as a precaution. My sister is now thinking of buying one and another friend is coming by tonight to check it out.

The only thing I wish this had was a dome, they don't spread much around now but I'm worried when they get bigger they will. For now I have it on a large scatter rug so the litter that does get out of the box is easy to vacume and they aren't tracking it everywhere. So far I'm very happy with the SC, it's doing just what I hoped it would which doesn't happen very often with products these days.
