Initial impression

Omega Paw has an inexpensive, manually-operated litter box that uses gravity to collect waste in a tray.

Initial impression

We just came back from a mini-vacation, about 5 days... I set up a large Omega Paws box in our downstairs bathtub and filled it with 7 lbs of World's Best Cat Litter (corn-based). It looks like it got used a handful of times, after which the Litter Robot looked like a better proposition to our cats, since it was clean. It took about 15 seconds to "roll" the box around and dump the waste from the pull-out drawer into the commode. Very nice!

The box assembled quickly and easily, although the quality control could have been a tad better. One of the sliding tabs that holds the box top to the base keeps sliding back to the unlocked position. Overall it seems like better quality than your average hooded box. It's very spacious inside. I'm keeping the box set up in the tub for the time being. When Pewter returns to his owner next week, we're sending this box with him. I'll report back what the new owner thinks.
