Omega Paw has an inexpensive, manually-operated litter box that uses gravity to collect waste in a tray.

Thanks to the info I received from this forum, I decided to give the Omega Paws a try. I have used LitterMaids in the past and was fed up with the jams, brakeage, and shorted circuit boards. I had only two cats then and even the Mega model was not up to it. I am planning on a Litter-Robot someday, but thought this might be a good transition from an open box. The local Petco only had the small one in stock, so I got it. As everyone else has said before get the large one. Still the small one has worked out very well and it is getting my cats used to a covered box. I have two grown cats and four kittens. The kittens took to it right away. I still have one regular box, but I will soon replace that with another OP. I have one cat that is almost blind from birth and scared of everything, so I am not sure if he will ever use a LR, but I was thrilled to see him in the OP soon after it arrived. It is so much easier to keep up the OP. Where was this 20 years ago? I guess it shouldn’t surprise me that there is a web forum devoted to litter boxes, but I am glad I found it before I bought another junkball LM. Thanks to all who have posted and to Jeff for running this site.

You're welcome. I'm glad the forum is useful to you. I really like the Omega Paws and don't remember which user suggested it for review first. That person really deserves the credit.
