Multiple Cats

Omega Paw has an inexpensive, manually-operated litter box that uses gravity to collect waste in a tray.

Multiple Cats

Postby JessP12 » Mon Mar 22, 2004 8:28 am

Hi,
I decided I was going to purchase the omega litter box but have a few questions. I have 3 cats and our female cat is very picky about where she goes. I think she doesn't like to go when another cat has gone before her. We will probably get out all the waste in the morning and evening because of this. So my question is should I purchase 2 large litter boxes or just one? My largest cat which is the female is 13 pounds.

Thanks,
Jess

Getting two might be a solution. They have a large and small one. Maybe two smalls? Of course, I don't see how you will keep one reserved for your picky cat. Seems like the other two will just use both as they see fit?

The LR (though pricey) might be a solution for your problem. It empties itself 7 minutes after a cat uses it, so it's ready for the next one. I just mention it in case you hadn't heard about it.

Good luck.
