Automatic Litterbox Central

I just got a Littersweep Ultra, and much to my horror, it appears the company Stylette doesn't exist anymore. The company that bought them also seems to have little interest in supporting their products.

I'm having the same problem with the box that I've read some others have had - the rake smack against the back of the recepticle lid instead of rotating to drop the waste. Does anyone have any suggestions on how/if this can be fixed?
