I Need Help!

Postby Lily & Eddie's Mother » Wed Nov 01, 2006 1:43 pm

My Littersweep is one month old and I'm ready to pitch it! Love almost everything about it EXCEPT the rake seems to keep getting stuck on the vertical wires on the gray rim! So, every morning when I wake up I have to go to the basement and fix the darn thing. The rake arm seems to get to the vertical wires and then just sits there clicking. I've taken the rake off and on so many times I can't even count! I've even tried to adjust the verticle wire posts thinking they may have somehow gotten bent -- but to no avale. Help me PLEASE!!!

I am facing the same problem, and so far this has worked. What I did was to remove the 4 little wires that are attached on the rim. They are held on by 2 screws. just unscrew them and see if it helps. So far this has done the trick. Fingers crossed.

Good Luck

Rake catching

Postby bill » Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:58 pm

I had a problem where the grey ring would end up shifting around, which would cause the rake to catch on various things. I ended up using some clear plastic packing tape and taping the grey ring to the main body of the litter box at 4 places around the outside. (One of them I had to remove the collection box before I added the tape). It seemed to fix all the catching problems I had. :-) I would try to leave the vertical wires in place since I don't know how well it will deal with clumps that are stuck to the side of the bowl without it. :-)
Good luck.
