Automatic Litterbox Central

I'm new, so let me introduce myself. I'm Thumper, and yes, I'm female. I have two gorgeous felines -- Dakota, a Siamese and Samantha, a stray who won my heart. She's a Tuxedo. I had entertained the idea of purchasing a LitterMaid when I located this website and began reading. At the time, the best rated automatic litterbox was the Litter Sweep so I ran -- rather, I burned rubber all the way to the nearest PetSmart and purchased one. It's LOUD but oh my stars, I wouldn't give love nor money for it!! I do have to check it occasionally because it'll get stuck w/ the poo box open and the rake in the up postiton -- I don't know why -- but it's well worth it to me because I loathe cleaning the litterbox w/ such a vehemence I'd vowed NO MORE FURBALLS when these were gone. Now I love my babies again. There wasn't a single problem converting them to use it, not even w/ my very skittish and shy Tuxedo. I hope this helps someone make a decision about which one to purchase, just as this forum did for me.
