Automatic Litterbox Central

So far I love how my littermaid has worked, but this week, my littermaid got stuck when retracting after sweeping the litter. Now every time it gets activated it moves back and forward in the same position, and makes a sound like it's trying to move, and the red light on top of the unit is flashing.

Anyone has had a similar problem, how did you solve it?
