The rake gets stuck and does not slide down the track after returning to the starting position, I'm going to get some stick on weights and put them on the back of the rake, You can find these weights at any model railroad/hobby shop or even at amazon(wheel weights), You'd place them on the back and You'd start with the smallest amount to see what works. These type of weights have an adhesive stick on backing. As I think the rake may either be too light in weight or have too much friction on the rails, Delrin rails would I'd think possibly fix this, But since I have no way to make a new rake to test this, the stick, I've used the weights on the right before to increase the weight of HO Train cars to their proper weight and they do work as the adhesive has a foam backing with a peel able backing that protects the adhesive until one needs to use the weights, Oh and the weights can be subdivided along the seams in the weights and no tools are needed usually, One might need a knife blade to peel off the cover for the adhesive backing, But otherwise It's dead simple to do.
