Automatic Litterbox Central

I woke up this morning to a heinous sound coming from my LM900. The rake is crooked, the right side cord is exposed, and the spool containing the cord on the left side is detached and lodged. Because it became lodged right next to the track, it won't move but the right side will... hence the crookedness. I donned my rubber gloves and tried and tried and tried to figure out what to do, but I've already started looking to purchase another unit. I have emailed the company, but I'm not holding my breath.
