Automatic Litterbox Central

I have a Litter Maid Elite that I've had for probably near two years. Before this one, I had a Litter Maid "Classic" that lasted for four or five years. The problem is recently the Elite is constantly jamming. Even on a fresh clean box that's filled to the Max line or less. It has the 12v 1000mA power supply (unlike the older one that was 500mA or so), so I don't know that there's much I can do to give it more "oomph", but the thing is, for a year and a half or so, it worked great with the random, occasional jam. Does anuone have any thoughts?

I just put on a new 18v/ 1000ma adapter and its works great. It just goes through a cycle like nothing is there. I don't know how long the motor will last but I'm willing to give it a try. The old 12v adapter just didn't have enough power. My LME9000MB would get stuck or jammed about 50% of the time
