LitterMaid Warranty

Postby humanvege » Tue Nov 07, 2006 9:47 pm

Hello,

I bought a LM900 along with the LitterWorks combo online in February. The Littermaid LM900 worked fine the first few months, in the past month the rake keeps on getting stuck and won't finish the cycle. I contacted LitterMaid Warranty and they said I have to give them a date code, even though I have a copy of my invoice. My date code was scratched from the machine. They won't assist me unless I can identify the date code. I can only make out a "3 or 8" and what looks like an "E" out of the what looks like 3 or 4 digit date code on the battery department. Does someone own a LM900 that was manufactured over the 1 and 1/2 year or so? Can you please tell me what the date code is? I really want to get my littermaid working again since I spent so much on the Litterworks combo :-( Please help. Amie

I have a sticker inside my battery compartment lid that says 430. Not sure if that helps? I know that when i have returned mine before that they have asked for that.

Thank you! I contacted Littermaid and was able to get a reponse. I am going to send them my receipt, $10 for shipping and handling, and they'll ship me a replacement unit. Hopefully the new unit won't break down as quickly.

Keep in mind that the Litter you use and the quantity of litter in the LitterMaid greatly effects it's performance. There are lots of threads here about this!!!

Also, do not fill to the Maximum Line! For some reason those LitterMaid people thought it a good idea to call it Maximum Fill when they really meant to label it "too full!!!"
