Pump Motor?

Postby Doug876 » Mon Nov 07, 2005 10:56 pm

after 3 years of daily use the pump motor appears to have burned out. does anyone know where to buy a replacement? Are these custom wound motors? the numbers on the motor are gone, it over heated and the ink smudged when i removed it from the unit. the curulation motor numbers i have but not sure if the specs are the same. Has anyone had any luck getting these rebuilt?

The two motors are identical, except for the longer axle. You could try an overhaul company specialized in electric motors. Given them both motors, I'm sure they can restore it. Though it won't be cheap.

I'd go for the seemingly new & improved CatGenie. If you take their offer, you'll have a brand-spanking-new box for 150 bucks 8)
