Any news on our favorite company? Is there still an intention of reviving the company?

No one seems to know anything... at this point I would be willing to bet that we will be waiting for years until the patent eventually runs out, then some other company will release a clone.

Which brings to mind .. how long is a patent good for? Is it 7 years, or longer? When was the initial patent issued for Litterfree?

My LF is now dead, and after buying what I thought was a working unit on EBay (it didn't) and being unable to get mine working again with parts from the dead unit, I would really like to know that there is some hope in the not-too-distant future.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to try the beast until a couple of months after I received it and by then EBay had suspended his account. He later resurfaced using a new seller name, but I couldn't leave feedback.

This was the first time I've been burned on EBay. There HAVE been a couple of times where the item I received was a little more dinged up or scratched than what the description or pictures implied, but I never (til now) just outright received an item which didn't work at all!

Do you remember the guys name and where he was from? I was burned on ebay also and just checkin to see if it is a new one.
