I agree- things are a bit chaotic at the moment. It's very likely that the people at the stores won't have any idea that supplies are arriving until they actually get them.

Someone mentioned that Petco and Petsmart were carrying the supplies again - I called both stores main headquarters - they are not aware of this. Have you heard different? Pellets on EBAY are ridiculous - 100% markup over that they should retail for. ACK!!

I have been using an old canister and substituting washing machine front loader only laundry detergent (Tide Brand High Efficiency) - 1/4 cup and filling the rest of the canister with water. It works well. Not sure how wonderful it is for my cats -- any thoughts?

As I have said before - anything you put in the cartridge will wind up on their paws, and then in their mouth. I would not do this.
