What I hate

Postby looknow12 » Wed Mar 03, 2004 1:42 am

What I hate about my litterfree box is the fact that the cats don't bury their crap. Maybe the granules are too tough on their feet, or maybe there is just not enough depth for them.

Because it's never buried and because we are talking about non-absorbing granules until the unit runs, it smells in the vicinity.

smell

Postby lplott » Fri Jan 14, 2005 2:14 pm

I know it says not to, but why would it hurt to put some cleaner in the box as it cleans, like lysol, to help the smell. I mean, something that would just freshen, I mean, its a box, it runs water in, runs water out, it would clean the pellets, and drain, how could this hurt the box. I could see if it was something real strong and damaged the granuals, but just a mild cleaner with a fresh smell that you only use a tiny bit of. Would this be so bad.

I guess that depends on what you use and how much you care about your cats - I personally would not do it.

That's what the "start cycle" button is for. :)
