Cat Scram or foil?

I would try tinfoil first - it's a lot cheaper and very effective!

Just tape it to the counter for about a week.

Yes it is! Thanks to Michael, all of my kitties have decided to join the "Good Kitties Club" and are now all using their boxes in the garage again (through a pet door).

Aluminum foil did the trick! I just about gave up until I tried that.

kitty prefers the tub

Postby td » Thu Mar 04, 2004 6:56 pm

i have a major problem! my cat would rather use my bath tub than his LF. he was using the LF for a year and then we moved. for the next few weeks after the move, i was traveling often for work and i think it really pissed my cat off.

he began leaving surprises for me in my tub. i started shutting the bathroom doors and he began using the LF again. i thought after a month of keeping the bathroom doors shut he'd be broken of the nasty habit, but i was wrong.

has anyone else had this problem? i tried the tinfoil idea, thinking it might work, but he'd rather roll around on it for awhile and then jump in the tub to releave himself. i finally went back to a regular litter box, the only thing that was kept him from using the tub.

i'm really sad about this  any advice would be appreciated!

Try taping the tin foil to the bottom of the tub!
