Get 'em while they're hot! Also, if you've never ordered from them before, enter the 20% off code at checkout.

granule success

Postby cartman » Sat Sep 06, 2003 12:49 pm

not sure how this happened, but when i clicked on the link, i was taken to the petco page for the granules, and they were listed as being on sale...marked down from $24.99 to $0.00.
So I bought two. Looks like I'm gonna get a year's supply for a whopping $6.67 in shipping charges.
i checked this morning and the price has been fixed. i wonder how many other people managed to get it free....

Happened to me too. I 'd emailed them on Tuesday asking them if there was an error on their site, but they never responded. As my boyfriend says, you warn people once about their mistakes, if they don't correct it then there'd no need to feel guilty!

Yep. It happened to me too. All in all, I ordered four boxes at a whopping charge to my credit card of .. $8.56!

Sssshhhh .. just don't tell Petco!

Also, I ordered scented, and it appears they sent me all unscented (which is fine. I think I'd rather have unscented because I don't want my inmates to stage a poop-in because I changed to perfumed granules!)

Actually, it was my intent to call them. I just thought I would be charged the normal amount upon shipping, but realized that wasn't the case when I received them. I guess Petco probably thought it would be better to let a few go since it was their mistake.

Since I think I hold the record for the most paid for a LF on EBay immediately after LF closed their doors, I must admit that saving some $ on the granules helps to make up for that. Still, I haven't recovered the extra $$ I paid for the unit! :(
