Anyone need parts ?

Postby shfwilf » Fri Apr 07, 2006 3:19 am

I seem to have a Litterfree processing unit (just the unit - no pan or hood) in my garage that has defective firmware.

If anyone wants it for parts, I will send it along for the cost of the shipping. It has a good impeller, propeller, and the motors are good as far as I know. There may be other stuff inside that someone can use.

The serial number is probably useful for someone who wants a discounted CatGenie :P

I do NOT intend to have anyone ask for this just to get the discount on the Catgenie - that would be dishonest. I will be letting the Catgenie people know the serial number on this unit prior to sending it to anyone so that cannot happen.

It's not just discounted - I will give it to the first person that wants it if they will pay the cost of shipping from zip code 90046 to wherever they are. I'm not trying to make money here, just trying to help someone out who may need parts. If nobody wants it I suppose I will just discard it.

does anyone need a LitterFree for parts?

Postby Tonk » Wed Sep 20, 2006 9:55 pm

Now that I have my Catgenie, I will give my LitterFree to anyone who would like it for parts. Everything works except the water level sensor which allows too much water to flow into the box. If you live near San Jose, Ca you could come pick it up. Otherwise you would need to pay for the shipping.

Anyone want two sick LFs for repair or parts?

Postby freeatlast » Sat Oct 14, 2006 1:42 pm

I have two sick LFs that I will give away for parts. From what I remember they turn on to a certain degree but the CPU seems to get stuck in its algorithm and I cannot get it to properly reboot even after letting it sit for weeks time. They have now been sitting in the garage for over a year. I have a functional LF so have not bothered with them. If you want them for parts let me know and we'll figure out how I can send them to you. I'm at 98110. Thanks.

Parts please!

Postby ethernight » Tue Oct 24, 2006 2:58 am

Hi there!

I just bought a LitterFree on eBay and it was missing a lot of parts. Basically everything that wasn't hooked up to the base unit was not there. No t-adapter, no drain hook, no manual - who knows what else is missing. The seller is refusing to refund my money, (yeah - he's getting bad feedback) so I was popped on here to see if I could replace the parts and get my unit running. I am sure I can get the t-adapter at home depot and the manual online. What's getting me is the drain hook. Would someone here be willing to send me theirs?

Thanks a million!

Parts

Postby Tonk » Sat Oct 28, 2006 8:22 pm

I'd send you any parts you want if you pay the shipping. I was about to throw mine out. Just let me know what parts you want. The only part that wasn't working right on mine was the water level sensor.

Hi Cindy,

That would be awesome! I *think* that the only thing that I need is the drain hook, but I'm not sure. Basically, it only came with the stuff that was attached to the base. Would you mind sending off anything that can be detached? A manual would also be very helpful.

I'm PMing you as well, but feel free to email me at ethernight (at) yahoo (dot) com. Let me know where to paypal you the shipping costs, and how much it will be.

Thanks so much for your time! You're a lifesaver!

I would be interested in a litterfree for parts. I have one with a broken impeller blades so a working cpu is not necessary. If anyone is willing, please email mailto:jamie@we3dements.com

Thanks,

Parts still available?

Postby rickpruden » Tue Apr 10, 2007 8:48 pm

Hi, I still have one of the earlier Litter Free units (from around '98) and finally got my first ER2 message. I have dealt with the solution not being added during the cleaning cycle for some time (put in a sports water bottle and sprayed in daily), but now have a LF full of water with the ER2 message.
Does anybody still have units available that they are willing to part with? I am willing to pay for shipping.

Thanks,
Rick Pruden
