Skipping a Cycle

Postby Scotti » Fri Nov 08, 2002 12:23 pm

If you hold the "hour" button down and quickly press "start cycle" it will force the Litterfree to skip to the next part of a cycle. ie if its on the first wash it will skip to the second, third, dry, etc.

Addition to info Important

The cycle skip will skip between cycles also.

I believe all the cycles are...

fill, stir, drain,
fill, stir, drain,
fill, stir, drain,
fill, stir, stop, stir, stop, stir, drain,
dry.

the "hour" "start cycle" sequence will cycle through all these. You most likely will only want to skip the final dry to start a new cleaning. I wouldn't use it for anything else.

BTW I DO NOT WORK FOR Litterfree, please use this info at your own risk.

Thank you very much that was what I was looking for.

Here was my problem:
The unit for the first cleaning cycles would churn the water for a few seconds and then just pump very slowly. It would also make a sort of grinding noise. (YES I only use the granules). Through the cycles, it would churn water longer and than only pump slowly. The final cycle churned water througout. The problem was that when it was all done, the litter box was still very dirty. I didn't much appreciate the blowing hot air over poop cycle.

I tried unplugging it for minutes at a time, but the darn thing seems to have a very good memory, or mechanical indicator which recognizes what cycle it was left in. I guess I really like that because if the power goes off, you could be looking at two fills in a row. (though the unit should have some sort of float).

Being able to cancel the dry cycle and rewash was very helpful, thank you.

How To Stop the LitterFree Machine During Any Cycle

Postby cj » Sat Nov 08, 2003 12:40 pm

To Stop the Litterfree machine during any cycle, perform these steps:

1. Press the Pause button.

2. Press and hold down the Hour button, and, while keeping down the Hour button, press the Start button.

The LitterFree machine will stop. The next time you press the Start button, the LitterFree machine will start from the first cycle.

NOTE: To eliminate standing water in the box, stop the LitterFree machine at a time when the water has drained out of the box.
