LR has lost its way

Postby kentrauscher » Fri Jan 13, 2006 10:31 am

Our Litter Robot is a few years old, and it has lost the ability to rotate to a point and return to the original position. It just keeps rotating. Any ideas?

Define "a few years". Two? Five? If you have used it three years or so, heavy use with several cats, I would just chalk it up to it's worn out and you got your money's worth.

Surely there's a sensor or something that can be repaired or replaced for a lot less than a new LR!

Well...who knows? If that's the strategy he/she wants to pursue, then I suggest they contact the manufacturers, Litter-Robot, about repair and/or parts. 8)

I know lots of people throw out their LIter Maid every year and get new ones but I was hoping the LR wasn't like that. I mean the globe wouldn't even fit in my trash can!

Could you perhaps use an old litter free globe as a cement mixer? :P
