Ordered One Today

Thanks to all that described their experience with the Litter Robot. I place my order today.

Jeff and Cas, I saw you post about the WBCL and we looked it up and found that a local store carries it. We bought the small 7lbs bag to try it out. Tradditional litterbox keep in mind. We had our two cats 12 and 3.5 months, and we got our new kitten 4 months old on Sunday. Well we changed the litter to the WBCL and thought that things were going well. We knew that our first two cats 12 and 3.5 months were using it fine. However, the third and new cat, who had been using the litterbox fine, we found started using my computer room. oh boy. The only thing we can think is, 1 we forgot to put some of the old wastes in with the new litter so they know to use it, and 2, that she must have thought it was food. It did smell good. :D We found what I guess was about 3 time she used my computer room instead of the litterbox. We think only one urination though. We can't find evidence of any other areas she did that. Thank goodness. Well we changed back to the that night to the old litter. I don't know if we are going to try again or not. I think if we do it will be after the Robot arrives. I don't want to torment her more than she needs.

Hope every one had a great weekend.

WBCL mixes very well with the clay stuff, and it's probably easier for many cats to adapt when it's phased in gradually. Sorry to hear about the messes! I know what that's like!

Well, congrats on the new kitten. Adorable? I'm sure.

We mix regular litter and the corn during the tranisition. I don't know if that will work for you, but you might want to try it when your ready for the switch.
