Litter Robot Smell...Charcoal filters?

Postby Debeucci » Tue Apr 12, 2005 10:33 am

I have a litter robot and I love it but there's an odor with it that lingers around it regardless of how often I clean it.

I'd like to buy some charcoal filters but I'm not sure where I would put them.

Has anyone had any experience in putting a charcoal filter or some odor removing solution for my litter robot?

Thanks!

Not sure what to tell ya about the charcoal filter. Perhaps you should consider experimenting with different kinds of litter. I've had the most luck with Maxx Scoop (extra scented) by Purina. If that doesn't work be sure to find a litter with an enzyme additive.

If all else fails then maybe changing your cats diet. We use IAMs and the cats are happy with it and we're happy at the end results when having to empty the LR waste tray.

Good Luck :)
