Nope, I put the whole drawer INSIDE a bag

Postby Justjen » Wed Jan 19, 2005 12:13 pm

The step goes in first and the open end of the bag hangs over the inside end of the drawer. The bag (tall kitchen) goes down inside the tray and holds all of the clumps. When it comes time to change the bag I pull the open end back over the poo filled compartment turning the bag inside out & remove it. Everything stays in the bag and the drawer is completely clean.

Maybe it's because it's 6am and my eyes aren't totally focused yet, but do you think you could post a picture of your use of the tall kitchen bags so I can make sure I'm understanding you properly?

Thank you,
Marc

I'd like to see a pic too. I tried putting the drawer in the bag and the cats looked at me like I was nuts....they wouldnt step on the step because there was bag on it. I must not be doing this right. lol

How do you keep the bag from shredding every time you pull the drawer out?

I like the idea of the drawer in the bag and I think it gives the drawer a little better seal to keep the odor down.

Sorry guys!

Haven't had time to take pictures, I use store brand tall kitchen bags (they may be a little thicker than the cheapies from Wal-Mart.

I've never had the bag shred, the drawstring bags work better, right now I'm using the tie flap ones. All I can say is if your cat is willing to step on the bag covered step then you're in like Flynn!!

Will be back with pics when I have time...

Oh my cat does a lot more than step on that bag, usually every other day. :x The bag makes it easy to fling the stuff into the drawer.
