Citrimax Litter and Litter Catcher............

Postby sage » Sun Aug 08, 2004 9:37 am

Has anyone tried a fairly new litter called Citrimax? Petsmart carries it. It is supposed to be all natural and have superior odor control. I am curious but still happy with the WBCL. (multiple cat formula) Recently I bought a litter mat at Petsmart called "Litter Catcher". It comes in two different sizes. I am so impressed with it. There is absolutely no tracking onto the carpet. I thought my hubby was using the vacum cleaner. It is really great. I checked on the website but they don't have it there. Sage

Citra-Max is GREAT!

Postby happybooker1 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 2:11 pm

After reading about the pitfalls of clumpable kitty litter, I decided to switch to some other type. I tried pine pellets, newspaper, the wheat cat litter, etc. I LOVE Citra-Max & will continue to use it.

I have 6 indoor/outdoor cats & 2 inside litterboxes. There is absolutely NO odor (except right after they poop), and NO tracking out of the box. It smells great. The Citra-max seems to absorb urine, & dessicates the poops. It says you don't have to scoop it at all, but I DO scoop out the hard stuff every other day.

I get mine at Target but Petco carries it too.

That is good to hear. I have been reluctant to switch. Have you by chance tried the Everfresh? A friend of mine swears by it. Sage

& they were nasty for my cats. Little balls rolling around underfoot & stuck in the cats' fur, etc.
