Litter box squeels loudly when it turns - didn't used to

When it rotates it about half the time squeals/squeeks a high-pitched sound. It works fine, just is noisy. Is my motor going bad already or could something else be wrong? I've only had it for a couple months.

It may be easily resolved....if not ....they will make it right!

Did anything ever come of this? I have had mine a couple weeks and it doesn't squeel but it sounds like there is litter in the gears or something. Still works great, just wondering what can be done to clean the motor...
