Automatic Litterbox Central

Our vintage 2005 Litter Robot was having issues (motor stopping and starting). It's in our office and the start-stop sound was beginning to drive my husband crazy. So we broke down and bought a reconditioned LR2 beige model. Love the improvements over the older one...lip extender, quieter motor, larger drawer, and beige color. Now that I've dismantled the black 2005 model, I'm wondering how to recycle it. The old bot still works...motor stops and starts but will eventually cycle all the way around. It's still in good enough condition that I hate to just throw it away. Would love to recycle it to someone needing it for parts. Let me know if you're interested.

We are very interested in taking over your old unwanted Litter Robot - provided nobody else has staked a claim already. We live in Bristol, and if you're not too far away we could come and collect.

I'd say keep it some place. The new one will fail someday and you'll always have a back up for it. That's what I did with mine.
