Robot goes from green light to yellow light by itself

Postby londonrothko » Sun Nov 29, 2009 10:46 am

Our 3 month old Litter Robot is spontaneously going from the green light mode to the yellow light and cycling partially, then sitting there half cycled for maybe 15 minutes before finally finishing the cycle. Anyone ever heard of this before? Have emailed customer service but was hoping to fix it before they got back to me...

I had a similar experience with one that needed to be plugged into an extension cord when renovations
were going on. It took a while to figure out it was faulty because most of the time the LR would
go through the entire cycle. Is yours plugged directly to the wall and is the outlet and connection
correct? If everything is okay then you need to wait for the LR people to return your call. It is
usually a very simple fix. Good luck!

I've got a robot that is doing the same thing. The unit spontaneously flips from either a green or red light to yellow, and starts an erratic spin - starting and stopping along the way.

How did you eventually resolve your problem?
