Automatic Litterbox Central

I have just switched from the Cat Genie to the Litter Robot II and I can tell you I am very happy. I was concerned about my cats acclimating to the Robot but thanks to this site I had absolutely no problems,

I unpacked and set up the robot in my living room for a couple of days. Put both cats in the robot a couple of time for 30 seconds or so.

I had to remove the Cat Genie because there was not enough room to put both in my laundry room. So after removing the genie I set up the Litter Robot and just an open litter box filled with Cat Attract litter.

Gently put both in the robot in the laundry room with the litter in the robot. The same day one cat started using the robot. The other cat used the old open box for a couple of days until it started to get dirty then right to the robot. Total of about 5 day transition.

I will have to remove the bag this weekend and put another in its place but that is a small price to pay for absolutely no odor in my house all week.

I am loving this so far.

I was very curious about what you ended up doing. I am glad the transition to the LRII has been going relatively smoothly for you and the cats. Good news! May it continue.

I saw your post on the CG page and it got thinking about whether I should get CG or a LR. Its good to see that your are way happier with the LR than with the CG. I am lucking to purchase one of the 2 in the next few days any advice or insight would be appreciated.
