Hi, received the Bot 3 days ago and neither of my girls have ventured into it. I had two litter boxes, took one away and am doing the "don't clean" the litterbox thing. One cat will stick her head in but won't go all the way in. The other one stepped on the step, the "bot" moved and off she went. I've put treats, cat nip, toys, etc. inside but still no luck. It's extremely cold today (2 degrees) so I'm staying in and will try the "cold turkey" approach to see what happens. It is interesting that both my cats will jump into anything open, bags, drawers, purses and even the fridge, but into the "bot" no. It's too soon to tell, but eventually I'm sure they will both be using it.

I think the unit is very good looking and not as big as so many people complain about ... the box it comes in could hold a person though. I think my Espresso maker is louder than the "bot" - my friends asked if it was a cement mixer LOL I do think it is odd that when it is cycling that piece of plastic sticks up in the doorway, you'd think that could be done away with - I think it is dangerous. And I must say that I am a bit disappointed by the lack of response from the "Bot" people with my 2 e-mails and phone call asking about that piece of plastic. The Bot people called me and apologized about not responding to my messages - the lady was very nice and explained about the weighted rubber liner and it's purpose and about the plastic handle - I am very satisfied with the response.

All in all I am happy with the size, look and sound level. :D

I hope your cats will venture inside, soon. You might try putting some of their poo in it to show them this is their new litter box. What litter were you using before you got the LR? Could you put some of that in the LR as well?
