any hints??

Postby annie » Tue Mar 04, 2003 8:37 pm

I just ordered a robot- I am tired of the litter drama after 12 years of 2 male cats. Anyone have any hints or tips that would be helpful?? Thanks.

Helpful Hint

Yeah I got one! Don't know if this has ever been covered (I'm not going to read 15 pages of posts about litter boxes) but I have figured out a way to use plastic grocery bags for catching the "debris". If you cut the handles on the bag exactly in half (so that you basically get 4 strings instead of 2 handles). Next insert them into the 4 rubber slots in the drawer. I haven't figured out a way to use the slot at the back of the drawer but so far I haven't needed to. Next you can pull on these 4 strings to square everything up. When the dreaded day comes you just open drawer and now you have 4 strings to tie up your "present". I have been experimenting with gently stretching the bags before installation. I'll keep ya posted.
