All 3 lights on the LR blinking

Postby Ash » Mon Oct 06, 2003 1:08 pm

Hi... has anyone ever had this problem... My LR keeps getting stuck about half way through the cycle, and all 3 lights start blinking. According to their troubleshooting section, it says the globe is experiencing excessive resistance by either too much litter, or the the factory lubricant has worn off. Well, I don't have too much litter in there... and I've only had the LR a little less then 2 months... does the factory lubricant wear off that fast???? I hope not considering the price I paid for it!

It's gotten stuck like this about 4 times in the past 24hrs... and what a pain, because it makes a mess when you're not home and the cats use it while it's stuck half way between a cycle! And having to unplug it while I'm gone would defeat the whole purpose of having it...

Thanks!

Ash,

I was also having this same problem for awhile. What I did, was took the globe off, and scrubbed down the bottom base real good, and made sure there was no litter stuck in any of the little grooves. Once I did that, it stopped getting stuck, for now anyway.
