Just found these forums...looking forward to reading some more as I just ordered a Litter Robot II from amazon.com.

A good tip for Canadians that live close to the border is to get it delivered to a mail receiving service in the US. Near Vancouver BC, there are a few in Blaine and Point Roberts. The one I use is Blaine Enterprises - info here: http://seattle.metblogs.com/archives/20 ... _van.phtml - They charge $2 for small items and $5 for large items. So comparing $299US to $399CDN was a pretty easy decision for me, especially now that the dollar is at par. Picking mine up next weekend.

What is the Litter Robot called in French?

Unfortunately quite expensive in Europe.
About $299 convert to about 210 euro at the moment, some shipping and stuff brings it to about e230 - e250 max, not e350 they're charging.

Is there no one shipping these units to Europe ?

Why is Robot Shop asking $369 US or Canadian when the suggested retail price is $299 US... which... by the way... at current exchange rates is actually $280 Canadian.

Yeah, regarding the price differential on the Canadian versus US Web sites, I did some quick math. On the US site, for me to get it delivered to a US address, it would be a total of $346.04 US, including shipping and tax in Wisconsin. On the Canadian site, which claims free shipping, it would still be $392.19 CAN with Ont tax. I have a friend from the US visiting in the next couple weeks and I'm thinking of asking her to buy one and bring it up for me.
