Litter Robot - Price tag too high?! Stop and think

Postby pgitta » Tue Mar 27, 2007 12:44 pm

Ok, so I don't even have my unit yet, but I've browsed these forums, and frankly I'm amazed.

All the praise. All the compliments. All the complaining...

...about the cost. "why can't I "upgrade" at a reduced cost. "why can't repeat customers get a discount"

Sure. let the company make just enought to pay the electricity bill, why don't we? Jeez.

This product has an 18-month warranty, so let's look at just how "expensive" it is to own for the minimum under warranty period.

300.00 / 18 months = $16.67 /mo. - 56 cents per day.

Based on reliabilty reports, no reason it shouldn't serve three years:

300.00 / 36 months = $8.33 / mo. - 26 cents per day

That's not even factoring in the litter savings, your rake cleaning time, or scooping time.

I'm not from the company so please don't blame them for this.

Just buy one less Coke a day and the thing is free people. Let's leave the selfishness to the cats, shall we?

Thats all true, but I reallty do NOT see a lot of price complaints on here...

It is double or triple the price of competitors and worth every penny.

When you can leave it for 2 weeks without touching it, and it is always clean.. it is worth it.

Less expensive would be good, but it's worth every penny, love it.
