have had the LR for 24 hours!!!

I received my LR yesterday!! I dug right in, set it up and removed the old box.

Most of the day the girls were curious, but cautious. The one I worried about the most was the first one to use it. By eveings end she had deposited 2 peeps (stealing these expressions) and 1 poop (yipeee!)

The other kitty was not so sure. I went to bed before she gave in to the LR. Actually, I'm only assuming she's using it, I haven't seen her go in, but her clumps are usually samller than the other kitty's, so I'm hoping it was hers.

I didn't think they'd take to it so fast, I'm pleasantly suprised for sure!

I plan on changing their litter type after a few eeks (don't want to try too much change at a time)....we'll see how it goes. I won't jump up and down until I actually see kitty #2 use it :)

Congratulations on kitty 1. I am sure you're not as silly as us - we set up a camera when we need to monitor the ol' cats. We have three and there isn't much more we can do when we need to find out who's doing what.

Best of luck.

Well it's been almost a week now and so far I'm thrilled!!

We went out of town Friday morning and got back Sunday night. The LitterMaid would have been full, jammed up and a nasty mess. Well teh Litter Robot never missed a beat! Was clean as can be and the waste container could have probably gone one more night without being emptied!!!

Tracee mine came today, I have to cats one is big and I am so afraid she won't use it or fit in it. I am getting some catnip spray tomorrow. I had to put it in a little different spot then my old box but I moved the old box right next to this one abd will let the old box get really dirty. I am praying they both take to it and I don't have to send it back. I am off Thurs and leave Fri am till Sun pm. So the old litter box will stay and be filthy dirty. I am afraid they will use the floor before they go in here. How many cats do you have Tracee? So fri-sun on 2 cats my bag should be ok.

Thanks, Rose

Wouldn't a home DNA test kit be wonderful for the task of identification? lol I want one.

Well both of my cats are uuisng it fine now. I got it on Tuesday and Sunday I got rid of the old litterbox. I saw one cat actually using it with her head sticking out it was cute. My younger cat was scared of it for a while but then one day I actually saw her in it but she was like side ways in it. But you know I hear it go off all the time and i never see them in it. I would like a cute picture of them in it with there head sticking out to show a friend of mine. But they like to do there business in private hee hee. But I love the litter robot it's great. Rose
