I have a big issue I need help with this morning!
We've had our Robot for just under two months and are still searching for the right litter. I read that Feline Pine is now producing a scoopable litter. Has anyone been able to find it? And has anyone tried it yet? "BR" (before Robot) we used their original product and were very happy with it, but of course the original formula does not work with the LR. I would really appreciate your sharing your experience if you've tried the new scoopable.
We have tried just about everything out there ~ from the clay based to the new scoopable paper based litter. I had high hopes for the "paper" one, but it just doesn't clump well and is so light weight that the particles stick to the inside of the bot and then "dig into" the cats' coats when they brush against the inside of the chamber.
The situation has gotten so bad that our male, who was the first to use the LR, now refuses to go inside. He steps up, triggers the mechanism, looks inside and then proceeds to do his business on the floor in front of the box with his front paws still on the step! After spending an hour this morning cleaning the bathroom floor and the Robot for the second time this week, I must admit that I don't blame him!
