I took the chance and ordered one. The cost was $8.50 including shipping straight from the manufacturer (I had to mail in a check, they don't take credit cards.)

This is the easiest litter scoop I have ever used! The clean litter falls right through without shaking, therefore very little dust is created. Because it is so long I only need to make 4 passes through the box and I get everything. It even traps most of those little bits that many scoops leave behind due to special v shaped slots.

I still think an automatic box and not having to scoop at is the ideal. But if you are scooping a regular box (or even occasionally scooping your automatic box), this scoop is great!
