Automatic Litterbox Central

I've been lurking here since I saw a late-night TV ad for Cat Genie just after last Christmas and contemplated buying it for my friend as a belated gift (which I did; usual love-hate relationship with it). Cat ownership is a distant memory for me, but I'm an engineering type (mechanical, not you EE reset types) so the Genie has a certain appeal to me. Anyway, joined up because I seem to have a Cat Genie scoop (no pun intended) that I will post up in the dedicated forum.
