About donating...

Postby flobeedoodle » Wed Mar 17, 2004 8:11 pm

I read a post in which the (I presume) owner of this site mentioned not getting any donations. As I personally have an excess feline excretia problem, and I consider this site to be THE place to go for updates on products that may eventually help me resolve this problem, if I can ever afford them, I felt guilty. I spent about 3 minutes looking for a link by which I could salve my conscience (all the time I can spare, I ought to be cleaning out litter boxes,) and found nada, so I offer a humble suggestion(while simultaneously sassing the mod): it's not fair to make me feel guilty about not contributing to a site that I use, and then hide the donation information from me.

I don't have much to offer (about $5) but if you put a button on the front page that leads to a paypal donation link, it's yours.

LOL ... There is an advertising banner that pops up often for the Amazon Honor System. If folks prefer Paypal or snail-mail, that can be arranged too. I know a lot of people have strong feelings against Amazon and/or Paypal. I'll see if I can get my webmistress to put something together this weekend or next. In the meantime, paypal can go to <jeff@planetfall.com> and snail mail can go to 1139 Rutland St, Houston, TX 77008. Checks should be payable to Planetfall.com.

Since the banner advertising has been such a total flop, I am considering removing it. I'm sure that won't bother anyone. (Yours truly runs a banner blocker, and I suspect a lot of you do too.)
