I adopted a 6-month old feral about a month ago. He's got the same symptoms, but other than that he's a perfect cat, and quite a lover. I'm thinking he's still living in that "you never know where you're gonna find your next meal" mentality, 'cause he'll eat anything. Have you gotten her to stop yet? Any hints on curbing the kitty appetite?

She is still a little pig! She isn;t fat because she has non stop energy and is always running up the various cat trees or wrestling and chasing the boy cats. She got spayed in Feb and she weighed 8 lbs!! She was only a bit over 6 months old! That is the size of a full grown cat. She still will eat anything, and loves her some sweets! I'm so lucky to have her. She really is a sweetie pie.

Miss Stormy Piggy is now a year old and has fit in very nicely with the gang. Her favorite thing is still eating. I can whisper the word 'treat' and her ears perk up and her eyes get as big as saucers! She loves her treats!

Wow, she has really grown-up. Looks very content and happy with her kitty friend!

I agree! Stormy seems happy and VERY healthy lol! Sammy, now about a year old, continues to eat like crazy like Stormy, but I'm trying to moderate him. And I make him work for treats, he's learning to "sit" and "come" and is almost ready to walk on a leash! lol

lol, she does love to eat. Everything. She has that little baggy-spayed-cat-belly that is a tell tale sign that she-eats-a-little-more-than-her-share-of-food. She thinks nothing of eating half of her bowl then going over to one of the other cats bowls and helping herself to their food. And they better not try to eat the other half left in her bowl! She is always acutely aware of exactly how much food everyone has in front of them. On the plus side, she is real active, constantly running up to the 2nd floor by way of the rug I attached to the wall. She races up the wall, then runs down the stairs and looks to see if i was watcing her. My place is sort of a cat gym house with shelves and carpet on the walls, just for them to climb on and jump around. They get their exercise!

I live on a busy city street so outside is not an option for them. I built them a room outside on the patio that they have access to all of the time. It is escape proof and gives them some outdoor time. They all love it out there and never try to slip out into the 'real' outside. Plus their litterboxes are out there! Yay! I took some new pictures of the outside room and will post them or a link to where they can be looked at. It is a real simple set up and they really like to hang out there. I put a kitty door panel in the sliding door track for them to go in and out as they please so I don't have to do the open the door thing while they just sit there and stare at it! lol
