Our [Cats'] Toys

I loooove gadgets. I loooove cats. Put them together and, well, there's a niche for people like me, eh?

Not all of these are gadgets, but I figure I'll just put it all in here. And get a good idea of how much I spend on my cats.

* This cat tree: http://www.cozycatfurniture.com/cat_tre ... mmock.html (the hammock was a bad idea. The next tree I get for them will be this one: http://www.cozycatfurniture.com/cat_tre ... iture.html)
* We have a Litter Robot in storage that we'll need to give away (first version, used for a year)
* A Cat Genie (and I bought a second one since the first one's warranty is almost up and I like the idea of having spare parts)
* A bunch of Automated Pet Feeders: http://www.smarthome.com/6182/Small-Aut ... der/p.aspx
I choose that one because the timer allowed for up to eight runs and I wanted to dispense a very little bit throughout the day (they will refuse to eat the little bits in a deep bowl if they only get fed twice a day and it ends up with me throwing away a lot of expensive food)
Note: The two of the four timers died in less than a year of use. Contacted SmartHome but no reply on warranty. Was just contacting them to see if they would replace - we've moved toward automating our house. (http://twitter.com/jchouse)
We are using INSTEON products to do this. First the pet feeders, then the CG, if that post about setting an auto-cycle and unplugging it ends up working (will test this week). Then the Roomba. And I hope that we get to do some sort of motion sensor tracking on the cats' use of the CG cause I'd like to know how often they use the bathroom (and what the did in it) for health tracking purposes.
* The Petmate Deluxe Fountain: http://www.amazon.com/Petmate-Deluxe-Fo ... 127&sr=8-2
Though I would prefer to use the Drinkwell or the new Cat-It. We had a Cat-It but my husband dropped it and broke it.
* A furminator
* A Purrfect Post and a Purrfect Angle. http://purrfectpost.com I want to eventually get the Mondo for Sabre cause he can't quite stretch fully and they do love to sit on the post for some reason. He could fully stretch with the cat tree, but he never does (by reaching past the first post). I think if we ever took the Angle away, my Sable would pine herself to death.

I suppose I shouldn't post food here. But we do have a Roomba, which isn't for the cats so much as for me and my feet.

I want something like this http://www.ahiddenhollow.com/ or http://www.therefinedfeline.com/lotus-cat-furniture.htm if I ever get more space in the house and more money to pay for it.
